Fusion Health Breastfeeding Tonic has been specially formulated to support mums who are breastfeeding their babies.

Fusion Breastfeeding Tonic contains herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to:

  • Maintain lactation
  • Increase breast milk production
  • Suitable for use with Fusion Mum-to-be Multi, which contains nutrients to support breastfeeding women's increased nutritional requirements.

How it works

Fusion Breastfeeding Tonic contains four herbs with a long history of traditional use to help support breastfeeding mothers as detailed below.

Goat’s rue which is traditionally used to promote lactation in traditional Western herbal medicine. Its common name is a reference to the observation in medieval times that consuming it increased milk production in goats, and its botanical name Galega officinalis is thought to be derived from the Greek word for milk (gala).

Based on its use in traditional Western herbal medicine, Vervain increases breast milk production.

Fenugreek improves breast milk production based on its traditional use in Western herbal medicine.

Shatavari has a long history of use in Ayurvedic medicine, where it’s traditionally been used by women wishing to improve breast milk production for hundreds of years.

Breastfeeding mothers may also like to consider taking Fusion OceanPure Fish Oil, a rich source of DHA, which is essential for infants’ visual and cognitive development, and Fusion Mum-to-be Multi, which supports the increased nutritional needs of breastfeeding women.
